Dry indoor air causes problems that go beyond simple discomfort. Watch for these symptoms that suggest your home needs a whole house humidifier:
Our installation process starts with an assessment of your home’s size, existing HVAC setup, and current humidity levels. We determine the right humidifier capacity for your square footage so you get consistent moisture without over-humidifying.
Installation involves mounting the unit to your ductwork near the furnace, connecting a water supply line, and integrating a control module with your HVAC system. We test everything to verify proper operation and show you how to adjust settings through the seasons. For complete climate control, ask about pairing your new humidifier with a smart thermostat installation that can automate humidity levels based on outdoor conditions.

Rick and his crew are awesome you must use these people.Posted on Ed & Alice WaltonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We are happy with HVAC Master service. Always prompt and always there when they say they'll be there. ( Which is a rare trait these days). Very nice and knowledgeable crew. Not so happy with the RUUD heat pump unit we bought from them 6 years ago. In the first year or so had compressor replaced, worked right for a short time, then had to run it on emergency heat because we got tired of it blowing cold air for a hour and a half before it automatically kicked on emergency heat. Then had coils replaced last month because the air conditioner quit blowing cold air..... Under warranty....but still had to pay $600. labor. So we'll see when winter comes, what will be next... Update... October 2025 Heat pump seems to be working good. And still happy with HVAC Master. Well run business. Prompt and knowledgeable.Posted on Debbie WolfeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We love HVAC Master LLC. They are always professional and show up on time. Awesome people, they went to my house a month and a half ago, they inspect and check my HVAC. Its the little detail i like about them. items like loose wire, the sudden sound of AC turning on they notice. after their service i notice my copper pipe is getting wet and just dripping everywhere, so i called them. same day they went back and fix the problem. they were professional and easy to talk to. i look forward to working with them in the future and would recommend them to other people.Posted on Jennifer CarrTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. When HVAC emergencies happen, fast response and clear action matter most.
Emergency calls are prioritized so heating or cooling issues are addressed without delay.
Technicians concentrate on stabilizing the system and restoring comfort as quickly as possible.
Our team regularly handles sudden system failures during extreme weather conditions.
A whole house humidifier connects to your forced-air heating system and adds water vapor to warm air as it passes through. The moisture disperses through your ductwork and into every room. A built-in humidistat monitors indoor humidity and tells the unit when to turn on and off automatically.
Total installation costs range from $500 to $2,500 depending on the unit type, size, and installation complexity. Higher-capacity steam units cost more than bypass flow-through models. Labor typically adds $200 to $500 to the unit price.
Most installations take 3 to 5 hours. Larger units or homes requiring plumbing modifications may take longer. Our technicians work efficiently while ensuring every connection is properly sealed and tested.
The ideal indoor humidity for comfort and health is between 30% and 50%. In colder weather, lower settings around 30% to 35% prevent condensation on windows. In moderate temperatures, you can push toward 45% to 50% for maximum comfort. Your humidistat handles these adjustments automatically once set.
Yes. While humidifiers work hardest during winter heating season, they can run whenever your furnace or heat pump operates. Many homeowners reduce settings in summer but keep the system active for consistent comfort.
