Rick and his crew are awesome you must use these people.Posted on Ed & Alice WaltonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We are happy with HVAC Master service. Always prompt and always there when they say they'll be there. ( Which is a rare trait these days). Very nice and knowledgeable crew. Not so happy with the RUUD heat pump unit we bought from them 6 years ago. In the first year or so had compressor replaced, worked right for a short time, then had to run it on emergency heat because we got tired of it blowing cold air for a hour and a half before it automatically kicked on emergency heat. Then had coils replaced last month because the air conditioner quit blowing cold air..... Under warranty....but still had to pay $600. labor. So we'll see when winter comes, what will be next... Update... October 2025 Heat pump seems to be working good. And still happy with HVAC Master. Well run business. Prompt and knowledgeable.Posted on Debbie WolfeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We love HVAC Master LLC. They are always professional and show up on time. A heating contractor will first assess your home’s heating needs and load calculations. The installation includes removing the old unit, placing the new furnace, connecting ductwork, wiring the thermostat, and testing the system for safety and performance. They also ensure the installation meets local codes, clean up the work area, and provide guidance on operating the new equipment efficiently.
If some rooms feel colder than others or your furnace runs constantly without reaching the set temperature, it may be time to call a heating contractor. Unusual sounds such as banging, whistling, or rattling, as well as a sudden rise in energy bills, often indicate underlying issues. Additionally, visible soot, pilot light problems, or frequent on‑off cycles suggest that a professional inspection is needed.
A typical heating system replacement usually takes one full day, from removal of the old unit to final testing of the new equipment. The process begins with a brief assessment and disconnecting the existing furnace, followed by installing the new system, connecting ductwork, and calibrating the thermostat. After verifying performance and cleaning the work area, the contractor will walk you through basic operation and maintenance tips.
Several factors affect the cost of a heating system upgrade, including the size and efficiency level of the new furnace, the complexity of ductwork modifications, and any necessary electrical or venting changes. Labor costs also vary based on the accessibility of the installation area and local code requirements. Additional features such as smart thermostats, zone controls, or extended warranties can further influence the overall investment.
When the heating contractor arrives, they will first confirm the work scope, review any prior estimates, and perform a safety check on your existing system. The technician will protect your floors and furnishings with drop cloths, then proceed to remove the old equipment, install the new unit, and reconnect ducts and controls. After the installation, they will run tests, clean up debris, and explain how to operate the system efficiently.
