Meet Rick Lowe, founder

Rick enjoys fixing things and making sure they work — instead of just buying new.   When his son was born in 1997, Rick was working two full-time jobs, and his wife was working full-time as well. Around that time, they started seeing commercials for Vatterott College’s HVAC course and decided it was worth a shot.

Rick showed up early and stayed late for the 60 weeks of coursework (a work ethic he maintains to this day). Throughout his HVAC career, he worked for four different companies and was a service manager twice, giving him the broad range of experience in repairing units and understanding customer needs and concerns.

Rick started doing residential work on the side while working for a company that focused on commercial and industrial HVAC. That company started sending residential work his way.

In 2011 he was handpicked alongside 14 other HVAC contractors to participate in a 3-day seminar in Sedalia. During this seminar, he realized he really could focus on this full-time and keep his family front-and-center.
